Dollar changes hands in lower 113 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 113 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 113.22-23 yen compared with 113.32-42 yen in New York and 113.18-19 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1900-1900 dollars and 134.75-79 yen against 1.1881-1891 dollars and 134.73-83 yen in New York and 1.1866-1867 dollars and 134.30-34 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
