Construction of Asian Para Games facilities to be completed this month

JAKARTA, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- The construction of all facilities for the Asian Para Games 2018 in Indonesia is expected to be completed at the end of this month, a minister said on Wednesday.

Public Work and Housing Minister Basuki Hadi Mulyono disclosed that all the works will meet the scheduled on contracts.

"All the facilities will be completed in construction on Dec. 31," he said in a statement issued by Asian Para Games Organizing Committee (Inaspqoc).

The minister said that after the compliance of the construction it will be followed by a contract for maintenance for six months.

Minister Basuki said that the construction included sport venues, athlete's villages and other facilities.

The Asian Para Games is scheduled to be held in Indonesia's capital from Oct. 8 to 16 of next year.

It is expected about 3,000 disable athletes to compete in the regional sport. Enditem
