China's industrial profits up 21.9 pct in first 11 months

BEIJING, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- Profit growth of China's major industrial firms slowed in the first 11 months of this year, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said Wednesday.

The companies reported a 21.9 percent year-on-year profit increase in the January-November period, down from 23.3 percent in the first ten months, the NBS said in a statement.

In November alone, profits of major industrial firms rose 14.9 percent year on year, it said. Enditem
