Dollar trades in lower 113 yen range in early deals in Tokyo

TOKYO, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar traded in the lower 113 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo Wednesday, largely unchanged from its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 113.20-21 yen compared with 113.18-28 yen in New York and 113.28-30 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1857-1858 dollars and 134.23-24 yen against 1.1853-1863 dollars and 134.23-33 yen in New York and 1.1872-1873 dollars and 134.49-53 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
