5 killed, 2 injured in road accident in Heilongjiang

HARBIN, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) - Five people working on the road were killed and another two injured in a road accident in Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province Friday morning, local authorities said.

The victims were hit by a vehicle while working on the city's second ring road at around 4:40 a.m. Four died on the spot, another died later after medical treatment failed. Two people suffered injuries.

Investigation into the cause of the accident is underway. Enditem
