Dollar changes hands in lower 113 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 113 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo Friday, largely unchanged from its overnight levels in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 113.31-32 yen compared with 113.28-38 yen in New York and 113.57-59 yen at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1853-1854 dollars and 134.28-29 yen against 1.1869-1879 dollars and 134.50-60 yen in New York and 1.1872-1873 dollars and 134.83-87 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
