Spanish shares gain 0.95 pct Thursday

MADRID, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares gained on Thursday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 up 0.95 percent, or 96.90 points, to close at 10,304.60 points.

A total of 30 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the day.

Global operator of services and infrastructure Ferrovial advanced 2.83 percent, followed by Spain's third largest bank Caixabank and steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal that rose 2.15 percent and 1.93 percent respectively.

Casing company Viscofan went down 0.43 percent being the top loser of the blue chips. Telecommunication company Cellnex lost 0.30 percent and supermarket chain DIA went down 0.09 percent. Enditem
