Kuwait, Tajikistan to enhance economic cooperation

KUWAIT CITY, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Kuwait and Tajikistan are eager to bolster ties on all possible domains, especially within the economic sector, said Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Tuesday.

Meeting with visiting Tajik Minister of Economic Development and Commerce Nematullo Hikmatullozoda, KCCI Chairman Ali Al-Ghanim said that both nations are eager to seek more venues of cooperation.

He called on the Tajik delegation to provide all the necessary data to inform Kuwait on business opportunities in Tajikistan.

Hikmatullozoda said that Tajikistan is interested in boosting economic cooperation with Kuwait, affirming that the current visit by the Tajik delegation was aimed at improving commercial exchange between the two nations.

He said that his meeting with the KCCI chairman focused on the business and investment opportunities in Tajikistan.

The Tajik minister took part in the second Kuwaiti-Tajik joint economic, commercial, and scientific committee meeting held on Dec. 18-19. Enditem
