French shares drop 0.69 pct on Tuesday

PARIS, Dec.19 (Xinhua) -- French shares lost on Tuesday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 0.69 percent, or 37.67 points, to close at 5,382.91 points.

Of the 40 selected large companies, 26 lost in the day.

European IT services Pvt ltd corporation Atos was down 1.58 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. French multinational pharmaceutical company SANOFI lost 1.35 percent. French multinational mirror manufacturer COMPAGNIE DE SAINT-GOBAIN lost 1.26 percent.

French food services and facilities management company SODEXO rose 1.74 percent. French banking group SOCIETE GENERALE gained 0.88 percent. European commercial real estate company UNIBAIL-RODAMCO up 0.77 percent. Enditem
