French shares gain 1.33 pct on Monday

PARIS, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- French shares advanced on Monday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 1.33 percent, or 71.28 points, to close at 5,420.58points.

A total of 37 of the 40 selected large companies gained in the day.

French international luxury group LVMH advanced 3.63 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Global leader in oil and gas projects, technologies, systems and services, Technipfmc rose 3.40 percent. A global Luxury group, Kering gained 2.29 percent.

French global leader in digital transformation Atos went down by 1.63 percent, the top loser of the blue chips.

Multinational communication group Publicis edged down 1.18 percent. International giant in the infrastructure Lafarge-Holcim lost 0.06 percent. Enditem
