CAIRO, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- Al-Azhar, the highest Islamic learning institution for Egypt and the Sunni Muslim world, condemned on Monday a suicide bombing that killed nine people at a church in Pakistan.

In a statement, Azhar said such terror acts contradict the teachings of all heavenly religions, urging the international community to intensify their efforts to stand against such terrorist groups and their supporters.
