U.S. dollar falls against other major currencies

NEW YORK, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar rose against other major currencies on Friday as investors renewed expectations that the tax bill would be passed by the end of this year.

In late New York trading, the euro decreased to 1.1759 U.S. dollars from 1.1799 U.S. dollars, while the U.S. dollar bought 112.62 Japanese yen, higher than 112.12 yen in the previous session. Enditem
