Spanish shares drop 0.26 pct Friday

MADRID, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares lost on Friday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 down 0.26 percent or 26.10 points, to close at 10,150.40 points.

A total of 20 of the selected 35 large companies lost in the day.

World's leading retailer Inditex went down 2.49 percent, followed by Spain's fifth largest bank Bankia and steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal that lost 2.35 percent and 2.01 percent respectively.

Global operator of services and infrastructure Ferrovial led rises climbing 1.58 percent, being the top gainer of the blue chips. Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa rose 1.30 percent and infrastructure company ACS was up 1 percent. Enditem
