German shares close flat Friday

FRANKFURT, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed flat on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index up 35.48 points, or 0.27 percent, to close at 13,103.56 points.

German maker of sportswear and equipment Adidas won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.48 percent. Energy group E.ON and multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer rose by 1.77 percent and 1.38 percent respectively.

Energy group RWE lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 2.54 percent. Chemical and consumer goods company Henkel and industrial giant Thyssenkrupp went down by 1.21 percent and 0.91 percent respectively.

German multinational software corporation SAP was the most-traded share with a turnover of 732.37 million euros (864.63 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
