Chinese Academy of Governance trains over 10,000 foreign civil servants in 5 years

BEIJING, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Academy of Governance said Friday that it had offered training to 10,281 foreign civil servants from 159 countries in the past five years.

The academy said the training used to cover civil servants from developing countries, but it now also covers developed countries and international organizations.

It has also expanded its training methods from opening classes to assisting the building of training institutions overseas, teaching at sites that feature China's achievements and culture, and creating websites and animation films.

Founded in 1994, the academy has established relations with 239 institutions from 89 countries and regions, and 20 international organizations. Enditem
