NEW YORK, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted 176km south of Isangel, Vanuatu, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Thursday.

The epicenter, with a depth of 15.17 km, was initially determined to be at 21.1201 degrees south latitude and 169.5529 degrees east longitude. Enditem
