Amazon set to livestream US beach volleyball tour

Xinhua,December 15, 2017 Adjust font size:

WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Internet retail giant Amazon Thursday announced that they have reached an agreement with the Association of Volleyball Professionals(AVP) tour to livestream almost every beach volleyball match from every tournament for the next three summers.

Amazon already include NFL and men's tennis games in its video collection.

Next year's AVP beach volleyball tour is scheduled to make eight stops, from the sport's longtime venues in California to Seattle, Chicago, New York and Austin, Texas.

"They clearly have shown their technological know-how," AVP managing partner Donald Sun said. "Everything that they've sought out to be, whether it is buying grocery chains to producing movies now, they clearly have the knowledge." Enditem
