Indian markets close higher

MUMBAI, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed higher. Equity benchmarks remained positive, with the Sensex rising more than 100 points, backed by ITC, PSU banks, auto and HDFC Group stocks. However, the upside was capped by Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank and Infosys.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 33,455.79, 205.49 points or 0.62 percent up compared to its previous close at 33,250.30. Enditem
