HONGKONG, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale jolted 54km NW of Fais, Micronesia at 00:22:57 GMT Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 45.0 km, was initially determined to be at 10.079 degrees north latitude and 140.203 degrees east longitude. Enditem
