NEW YORK, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Kuril Islands at 23:16:34 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 21.27 km, was initially determined to be at 47.4528 degrees north latitude and 152.8695 degrees east longitude. Enditem
