MACAO, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- The 17th Macao City Fringe Festival, featuring a series of outreach activities, including talks, workshops and art critiques, will be held next month, the Special Administrative Region's Cultural Affairs Bureau said on Tuesday.

The 10-day event, starting from Jan. 12 next year, is themed "Treasures Hunting." It includes a total of 23 programs and 10 outreach activities, with the aim of uncovering the city's cultural treasures and providing the public with rich artistic experiences.

It also sets up the Fringe Intelligence Division to help the audiences to learn about the different methods of exploring arts and culture.

Artists from China's Macao SAR and Hong Kong SAR, as well as those from Japan, Britain and Australia are expected to present their performances during the festival. Enditem
