1st LD: Bomb blast hits bus in Syria's Homs city, causing casualties

DAMASCUS, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- An explosive device ripped through a communal bus in the central city of Homs Tuesday, causing casualties, state news agency SANA reported.

The explosive device was planted in the bus that exploded in the Ekrima neighborhood in Homs, said SANA.

The same neighborhood was targeted several times by car bombs and explosive devices.

Some pro-government media outlets placed the initial death toll at seven. Enditem
