Suspicious DHL package received in German government office

Xinhua,December 04, 2017 Adjust font size:

BERLIN, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- A DHL parcel with potentially explosive content was received in Germany's Thuringian State Chancellery in Erfurt.

After an initial preliminary examination, the police said Monday it was possibly a throwing grenade. The parcel had been lying on a shelf, according to Focus Online.

It is the second bomb parcel to be sent since one was found at a Christmas market in the German city of Potsdam on Friday. The German authorities determined it was a dangerous nail bomb delivered to a pharmacy nearby, and believe it was an attempt to extort the DHL delivery service for millions of euros. Enditem
