Dollar briefly hits 113 yen line on U.S. tax reform outlook

TOKYO, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar briefly hit the 113 yen line Monday in Tokyo following the U.S. Senate approval of a tax reform bill.

At 5:00 p.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 112.99-113.00 yen compared with 112.24-34 yen in New York and 112.62-63 yen in Tokyo at 5:00 p.m. Friday. It moved between 112.66 yen and 113.07 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.1849-1850 dollars and 133.89-93 yen against 1.1895-1905 dollars and 133.41-51 yen in New York and 1.1914-1915 dollars and 134.18-22 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Enditem
