Singaporean stocks close 0.32 pct lower

SINGAPORE, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Singaporean stocks closed lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) dropping 0.32 percent or 11.07 points to close at 3,438.47.

A total of 1.52 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 810.3 million Singapore dollars (about 604.7 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers by 260 to 175.

The STI index closed up 0.47 percent or 16 points to close at 3,449.54 last Friday. Enditem
