Xinhua,December 04, 2017 Adjust font size:

HEFEI, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Mount Huangshan in east China's Anhui Province lowered its winter admission fee at the beginning of December, the management committee said Monday.

The ticket price was lowered from 230 yuan (about 35 U.S. dollars) per person to 150 yuan, and discounts have been applied to cable car rides, according to the committee.

Huangshan, one of China's most famous mountains, is known for its stunning sunrises, winter snow scenes and views from above the clouds. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1990.

According to earlier reports, from Nov. 1, 2017 to February 2018, tourists holding foreign passports and those from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan can enter the resort free of charge. Enditem
