LUSAKA, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Zambia's major media outlets on Sunday.
--The Chinese government plans to construct a dedicated National Public Health Laboratory in Zambia to enhance detection of high-risk infections using modern techniques.
Chinese Minister of National Health and Planning Commission Li Bin said when he held bilateral talks with Zambia's Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya that the facility will also serve as a national and southern Africa regional reference laboratory. (Zambia Daily Mail)
--Zambian President Edgar Lungu said taking care of the physically challenged and poor was a sacred responsibility which everyone must be involved in.
