JALALABAD, Afghanistan, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- At least five people were killed and seven others injured as a blast rocked Jalalabad city, capital of eastern Afghanistan's Nangarhar province on Sunday, spokesman for provincial government Attaullah Khogiani said.

"Initial reports say five people were killed and seven others injured in the blast that rocked Jalalabad city," Khogiani told Xinhua.

Without providing more details, he added that the investigation is underway. Enditem
