Building fire kills 6 in Tianjin

TIANJIN, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed in a building fire in north China's Tianjin early Friday morning, local authorities said.

According to the municipal fire department, the fire broke out on the 38th floor of a building in the city's Hexi District. Eleven people were hospitalized as of 9 a.m., six of which died despite treatment.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway. Enditem
