Dollar changes hands in upper 112 yen zone in early Tokyo trading

TOKYO, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 112 yen zone early Friday in Tokyo.

At 9:00 a.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 112.57-58 yen compared with 112.48-58 yen in New York and 112.28-30 yen in Tokyo at 5:00 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.1898-1898 dollars and 133.93-94 yen against 1.1899-1909 dollars and 133.95-134.05 yen in New York and 1.1864-1865 dollars and 133.21-25 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Enditem
