▪ Cleaner energy

The construction of the Baihetan hydropower station started in August 2017 in southwest China's Sichuan and Yunnan provinces. After construction is finished in six years, itwill be the world's second-largest hydropower project.Withan average annual output of more than 62 billion kilowatt-hours, it is expected to reduceChina's coal consumption by 19.68 million metric tons, and reduce carbon dioxide emission by 51.6 million metric tons.
