Sea Life opens first aquarium in China

Sea Life Chongqing, the first aquarium in China owned by the world's biggest aquarium brand Sea Life, has opened.

The aquarium has 18 exhibitions and more than 150 species of sea creature.

The aquarium will provide a unique aquarium exploration experience, said Pan Qian, general manager of Merlin Entertainments in Chongqing.

Sea Life Chongqing is owned by Merlin Entertainments, the world's second largest visitor attraction operator which runs some of the best known names in global leisure including Sea Life.

Sea Life have nearly 60 aquariums in Europe, America, and Asia, and welcomes more than 20 million guests each year.
