German stocks lose 0.33 pct Thursday

German shares lost on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 41.55 points, or 0.33 percent, to close at 12,590.06 points.

Deutsche Boerse Group, the marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and securities, lost 3.69 percent, the top loser among the blue chips.

Pharmaceutical company Merck and German airlines Lufthansa lost 2.60 and 1.40 percent respectively.

German multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer gained 1.23 percent, becoming the top gainer. Renal dialysis equipement supplier Fresenius Medical advanced 0.97 percent. Reinsurance company Munich Re went up by 0.56 percent.

Deutsche Bank was the most-traded share with a turnover of 352.50 million euros (392.29 million U.S. dollars). Endit
