A midibus overturned on Thursday on a highway in southwestern Turkey, injuring 18 people including Russian tourists, press reports said.

The mishap occurred on the highway linking the provinces of Mugla and Denizli, as the midibus was carrying Russian tourists from Mugla's resort town of Bodrum to Denizli's Pamukkale famous for its travertine terraces.

Two Turks are among the injured, the report said, giving no more details.

On May 13, a bus carrying Turkish tourists fell off a cliff near the popular resort town of Marmaris in Mugla, killing 24 and wounding 10 others. Endit
