British stocks rise 0.91 pct Tuesday

British shares rose on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.91 percent, or 67.66 points, to close at 7,522.03 points.

British multinational telecom company Vodafone Group soared 3.96 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Fresnillo and Rio Tinto increased by 2.90 percent and 2.68 percent, respectively.

British financial service company Hargreaves Lansdown was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 8.50 percent. British airline EasyJet dropped 7.25 percent, and Micro Focus International, a British software and information technology business, fell 3.04 percent. Endit
