First stage of logistics subpark in Belarus-China industrial park ready

The first stage of the trade and logistics subpark in the Belarus-China industrial park Great Stone near Belarusian capital, Minsk, has been commissioned on Friday.
At the opening ceremony, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Kalinin said that the agreements related to the construction of the Great Stone are carried out ahead of schedule.
The official said in the near future the construction of social facilities and residential buildings will start. It will involve Chinese technical and economic support, he added.
The first phase of the trade and logistics subpark occupies 29 hectares. Real estate covers 100,000 square kilometers. 50,000 square kilometers out of them is occupied by storage premises, 23,000 square kilometers by an exhibition center. About 120 million U.S. dollars have been invested in the construction of the subpark.
The second phase of the construction is planned to be started soon. The total area of the subpark will be more than 90 hectares, the total volume of investment - 500 million U.S. dollars. Endit
