Chinese shares close higher Tuesday

Chinese stocks closed higher Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.06 percent to end the day at 3,080.53 points.

The smaller Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.53 percent higher at 9885.34 points. The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, ended 0.77 percent higher to close at 1,802.49 points. Endi
