Paris CAC40 index down 0.91 pct on Monday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, lost 0.91 percent and closed at 5,382.95 points on Monday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed up on Monday, down 49.45 points, with seven of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers were UNIBAIL-RODAMCO, up 1.81 percent, CARREFOUR, up 0.44 percent, and MICHELIN (CGDE), up 0.37 percent.

The three companies of which the stock prices dropped the most were SOCIETE GENERALE, down 2.53 percent, COMPAGNIE DE SAINT-GOBAIN, down 2.52 percent, and SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, down 2.26 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 went up 1.12 percent, or 59.98 points, to close at 5,432.40 points on Friday. Endit
