The Chinese Ice Hockey Association announced Monday its 64-member squad for a training camp starting from Wednesday.

The players are scheduled to first have the military training from May 10, before moving to Canada in June.

Among the selected are home stars Xia Tianxiang and Fang Xin, with the exception of both Ying Rudi and Song Andong.

"Ying needs to play in the KHL and Song has to play in the NCAA, but both of them still have the chance to play for the country at the world championships," said Wang Qiangjun, deputy director of the Ice Hockey Section of the Chinese Winter Sports Management Center.

And the association also disclosed the standard salaries for national team members for the first time. Players under 18 will receive 6,000 to 12,000 yuans (about 870 to 1,740 US dollars) per month, and the salaries for adults will range from 10,000 to 40,000 yuans (about 1,450 to 5,800 US dollars).
