The Spanish Civil Guard on Friday confirmed they have arrested 59 members of a criminal organization which was dedicated to robberies in a variety of locations.

The group carried out robberies in industrial warehouses, shopping centers, trucks and lorries, as well as petrol stations and bars.

The majority of their attacks were carried out in the provinces of Madrid, Valladolid, Salamanca, Zamora, Burgos, Toledo and Zaragoza.

The Civil Guard attributes a total of 126 robberies to the band, which was divided into three separate cells and is described as "highly specialized" with experts in different types of robbery dispatched to participate in the theft which best suited their skills.

The robberies were carried out in stolen vehicles which were burned afterwards to avoid the detection and identification of fingerprints. Endit
