Chinese shares open lower Friday

Chinese stocks opened lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.4 percent to open at 3,114.77 points.

The smaller Shenzhen Component index opened 0.27 percent lower at 10,119.54 points. The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was down 0.29 percent to open at 1,832.68 points. Endi
