Atletico Nacional rout Estudiantes in Copa Libertadores

Defending Copa Libertadores champions Atletico Nacional secured their first points of the current campaign with a 4-1 victory over Argentina's Estudiantes de la Plata on Tuesday.

Mateus Uribe and Dayro Moreno netted in the first half for the Colombian outfit before Andres Ibarguen and Macnelly Torres found the target after halftime at the Atanasio Girardot stadium in Medellin.

The visitors' only goal came when Farid Diaz turned the ball into his own net just after the hour mark.

The result lifted Nacional to third in Group A with three points from four matches, ahead of Estudiantes on goal difference.

In Tuesday's only other Copa Libertadores fixture, Jose Ayovi and Jonathan Alvez struck first half goals as Ecuador's Barcelona de Guayaquil won 2-0 at Botafogo.

Barcelona de Guayaquil now have a three-point lead over the Brazilian outfit at the top of Group A. Endit
