U.S stocks close higher on earnings, Fed meeting

U.S. stocks traded in a narrow range on Tuesday, closing higher as the U.S. Federal Reserve kicked off its two-day monetary policy meeting.

The Dow added 0.17 percent, and the S&P 500 gained 0.12 percent, while the Nasdaq increased 0.06 percent. Enditem
