Namibia's cyclist dies in car accident

Namibia's cyclist Costa Raul Seibeb is one of more than 30 people who have died in road accidents since Saturday.

Seibeb, 25, died Monday from wounds he sustained in an accident Sunday in Luderitz (about 680 kilometers from capital Windhoek).

Police said Seibeb was driving alone when the accident happened.

When he died, Seibeb was attending the Klein-Aus Vista Mountain Bike Challenge that took place from April 29 to May 1, 2017.

Seibeb was the defending champion of the Namib Mountain Bike Marathon. Endit
