Spanish stock market closes at 10,820 points, up 0.98 pct

Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.98 percent on Tuesday to close at 10,820.30 points, up from the 10,715.80 points of Friday.

On Tuesday session, Banco Popular shares led rises climbing 3.57 percent, followed by Bankinter, Acciona, Grifols, Mediaset and AENA that rose 2.72 percent, 2.39 percent, 2.27 percent, 2.17 percent and 2.15 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Mapfre shares led falls losing 1.40 percent, followed by Bankia, Acerinox, DIA, IAG and ArcelorMittal that lost 1.26 percent, 0.94 percent, 0.79 percent, 0.56 percent and 0.37 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 133 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.66 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Friday closing time. Endit
