German police arrest man with ties to Islamic State

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in Germany on suspicion of connections with Islamic State, German federal prosecutors said on Friday.

The man is accused of joining IS in spring 2013,and engaging in their terrorist activities, authorities said.

It is the second arrest related to terrorism in Germany in two consecutive days. A German soldier was arrested on Thursday for planning a xenophobic attack. Endit
