1st LD: Man shot at leg by police in hospital in Berlin

Xinhua, April 27, 2017 Adjust font size:

A man was shot and injured at leg by police outside a hospital in a neighborhood in the German capital, police said on Thursday.

"It was still unclear whether one or more police officers had fired," a spokeswoman was cited by German media Welt.

At the moment, there were no details on the reasons for the firing of the shots and the exact location of the incident, she said.

Gunshots have been heard earlier around the hospital, which has led to the sealing off the area. Endit
