Paris CAC 40 index up 0.19 pct Wednesday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 0.19 percent and closed at 5,287.88 points on Wednesday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed slightly higher on Wednesday, up 10.00 points, with 23 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers were Kering, up 9.74 percent, Cap Gemini, up 1.48 percent, and Technipfmc, up 1.47 percent.

The companies of which the stock prices dropped the most are BNP Paribas, down 1.72 percent, AXA, down 1.04 percent, and Engie S.A., down 1.02 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained 0.17 percent to close at 5,277.88 points on Tuesday, up 9.03 points. Enditem
