Hong Kong stocks close 0.50 pct higher

Hong Kong stocks closed up 122.49 points, or 0.50 percent, to 24,578.43 points on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 24,515.23 and 24,637.85. Turnover totaled 78.62 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 10.10 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
