Laos to host 1st Clean Agricultural Products Trade Fair

The first Lao Clean Agricultural Products Trade Fair kicked off here Thursday, aiming to promote sustainable production of agricultural products in the country.

The fair also intends to encourage farmers to produce safe and chemical-free products and to advertize their organic products to consumers.

The fair will help strengthen the public and private sectors in food safety and quality improvement for fresh products in Laos.

The two-day fair was organized by the Lao Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Endit
